As a Libyan and a writer, there are no words to describe my elation at the falling of gaddafi &sons. I used to think of gaddafi as our shame, the Libyan people shame but now I donot; he is the world's shame; they knew what he was doing to the Libyan people for over 40 years and did nothing.

Anyway, I'm a regular lurker and today I decided to de-lurk and say hi and I love your writing and bought your first collection of stories and devoured it in a day.

Thanks again and best of luck.

Petina, just bought Elegy out of the blue at the bookstore and am on page 52 now. Can't read any more for now, too emotional for me! Wow, you take me straight back to growing up in Harare in the 80's. So refreshing to get a different point of view (I only read one each of Peter Godwin and Alexandra Fuller's books, they were from a generation before us and your writing touches me deeper. Love your work. Ant the Kamfinsa boy (how do I post this?)
